Robert Half is actively recruiting for a strong Manufacturing Controller Consultant for our large publicly traded client located in Riverside, CA. This opportunity will be located onsite.

The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be ensuring revenue recognition is properly managed with the percentage of completion and job costing process for month end and quarter end close. In addition, the consultant must be well-versed with Excel, Netsuite and Hyperion in preparing financial reports.

A deep understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements is required.

Skills:

Large public company experience with deep SOX experience required
Experience with percentage of completion and job costing
Large ERP preferred ike Netsuite and Hyperion
Advanced Excel skills required
Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
Must be able to work independently
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role
Proficiency in Job Cost and percentage (%) of completion methods
Familiarity with Revenue Recognition Accounting principles
Proven ability to handle Financial Reporting responsibilities
Experience with Month End Close procedures
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
