Responsibilities- Inspect and verify the quality of incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers to measure product dimensions.
- Maintain detailed records of defects and inspection/test data.
- Familiar with First Article Inspection a plus
- Accept or reject finished items based on conformity to specifications.
- Remove non-conforming products and materials from the production line.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Evaluate internal processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
- Identify areas of compliance and opportunities for improvement within organizational processes.
- Develop and present comprehensive audit reports to management.
- Collaborate with various departments to address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
