Construction Superintendent
The Superintendent must be able to travel between locations and some overnights may be required.
Responsibilities:-Provide ongoing assistance to the Project Manager by tracking project milestones, managing resources, and adjusting schedules to align with project goals and client expectations.-Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring that all onsite personnel, including subcontractors and vendors, adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.-Conduct daily evaluations of project progress, generating comprehensive reports and updates for management to ensure transparency on the project's status, risks, and achievements.-Regularly inspect work for adherence to project specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
Address any issues proactively to maintain project integrity and reduce rework.-Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and subcontractors, facilitating communication and providing direction to ensure that work is completed to specifications.-Update changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring all adjustments are properly documented and approved through established verification techniques.-Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, minimizing disruptions and ensuring smooth project flow.-Communicate directly with clients as needed, clarifying project details and specific requirements to ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution.-Develop and maintain all project-related documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps, to support clear communication and continuous improvement.-Track and measure project performance using established tools and techniques, ensuring all goals are met effectively and efficiently.
