Occupational Therapist – Rehab (LTC/Nursing Homes) - OTLTC 0310 JM#01

Pay Range: $2,120 - $2,500 per week

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with day shifts and competitive weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, and self-care skills.
• Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes following regulatory and facility guidelines.
• Assist in discharge planning and recommendations for continued therapy services if needed.

Qualifications:

• Required: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Hampshire (NH) or eligibility for licensure.
• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: Prior experience in long-term care (LTC), nursing homes, or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Certifications: BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
