• Oversee daily operations within the engineering and manufacturing department, including sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency - serve as a LEAN leader.
• Lead and develop a team of professionals to achieve company goals.
• Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to all on the production floor.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Develop and manage budgets to support operational activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless business operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business discipline.
• A strong background in industrial or manufacturing settings - knowledge of sheet metal, welding, and/or assembly is required.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities - prior track record leading teams of 100+ headcount is required.
• Extensive track record leading LEAN/CI initiatives - demonstrable examples of cost savings & efficiency improvements in a similar environment.
• Expert abilities in managing across multiple levels of an organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

• A salary ranging from $140,000 - $180,000 depending on level of experience.
