The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that claims are submitted in a timely manner, posting and reconciling insurance and patient payments.

Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve EOB rejections and other issues with outstanding accounts.
- Follow up on insurance and patient aging. Re-submit insurance claims as necessary.
- Prepare and manage all primary and secondary billings including; Medicare A, Hospice, Private and Managed Care, via paper or electronic means accord
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Healthcare Billing Collections required.
- Familiar with Computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Medicare Part A & Part B, Commercial, Medicaid and co-insurance billing required.
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) Billing experience required.
- Worker's Comp billing required
- Minimum of two (2) year experience billing Medicare A, preferred.
- Experience with Point Click Care - PCC software a plus, but not required.
