Position Summary:
Identify and address schedule deviations, propose corrective actions, and analyze the impact of change orders on timelines.
Conduct job site visits to verify the physical progress of scheduled activities and provide accurate progress measurement.
Collaborate with project teams to review schedules regularly, ensuring timely and accurate data is incorporated.
Evaluate schedules from A/E firms, vendors, and contractors, ensuring integrity, logic, and float paths align with project requirements.
Maintain independence as a planning engineer to provide objective advice to project management on critical decisions.
Manage multiple projects across various locations and contractors, prioritizing tasks to meet project demands.
The Project Controls Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, and analyzing project progress for either a single large project or multiple smaller projects. This role involves developing integrated project plans, monitoring deviations, and collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient execution and adherence to timelines.
