Job Description: Be responsible for the study, interpretation, and application of elevator codes and standards. Be responsible for the study, interpretation, development, and application of requirements and specification documentation for electrical and electronic systems, subsystems, and assemblies.
Interpret and design schematic diagrams, printed circuit boards, and electronic assemblies using Altium Designer platform. Test and qualify electronic assemblies using test equipment, such as but not limited to: oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, thermal imagers, climatic chambers, and ESD generators.
Provide cost estimation, procurement, and qualification of parts and pieces for electronic assemblies. Be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and diagnostics of elevator systems, subsystems, and assemblies at test tower facilities and/or customer jobsites.
Interface and design integration with other engineering teams, such as but not limited to: mechanical, software, wiring, testing, and field teams. Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, 2D mechanical drawings, 3D mechanical assemblies, software requirements specification, and other similar technical documentation.

Contribute in a team environment by leading and mentoring Engineers I and II. Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals with limited instructions. Adhere to all safety procedures while in the workplace and to all corporate compliance policies as a responsible professional.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or Automation Engineering required. Ten years of experience required in electronic hardware specification, design, testing, and documentation for elevators systems and components.
Ten years of experience required in printed circuit boards design using Altium Designer tool suite. Ten years of experience required in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of elevator systems. Five years of experience required in support at jobsites and at test towers during the installation phase and service life of elevators.
Five years of experience required in energy efficient systems specification, design, testing, and documentation for elevators. Five years of experience required in environmental and climatic testing of elevator systems. One year of experience required in LED lighting specification, design, testing, and documentation.

One year of experience required in battery backup systems specification, design, testing, and documentation. One year of experience required in the programming of ARM microcontrollers using C/C++ language. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
