Sr. Accountant

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role primarily involves streamlining accounting processes, performing account reconciliation, and integrating acquisitions. It is a vital role in our industry, and the incumbent will be closely involved in various department projects and process documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline the month-end close process for acquired companies
• Collaborate with teams across different locations for project accounting
• Handle intercompany transactions as required
• Engage in extensive research for future projects
• Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliation and maintain general ledger
• Execute account reconciliation tasks for acquired companies
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions
• Employ SAP ERP Central Component in daily operations
• Manage acquisition integration and acquisition management tasks
• Prepare journal entries and handle bank reconciliations. • Possession of a minimum of one year of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
• Solid understanding and experience with general ledger activities and journal entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data acquisition
• Experience with month-end close process and department projects
• Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software
• Familiarity with SAP ERP Central Component
• Experience in acquisition integration, acquisition management, and acquisitions strategy
• Ability to create and maintain technical and process documentation
• Demonstrated ability to manage business acquisitions and develop acquisitions strategy.
