LMI is seeking a skilled Junior Cybersecurity Engineer at Scott AFB, IL. Successful LMI Cybersecurity Engineers demonstrate competency in project execution, leadership critical thinking, relationship management, and business growth while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.The goal of this project is to support the U.S. Transportation Command Engineering task. This position requires an active secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Design and implement network security strategies, focusing on Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA).
- Advise clients on comprehensive zero trust security strategies, including IAM, network segmentation, and continuous monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze security challenges and develop effective solutions to address them.
- Create cybersecurity architectural documentation and artifacts to support security strategies.
- Communicate and present security concepts, findings, and recommendations to clients, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Level 3 engineer requires 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related role, focusing on delivering security solutions to clients.
- Level 4 engineer requires 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related role, focusing on delivering security solutions to clients.
- Must hold an active Secret clearance granted by the US Government/DoD.
- Must hold an active CompTIA Security+ or a comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification. Advanced certification to include CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc. Preferred.
- Proficient in network security design and implementation, particularly with Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA).
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly convey security concepts and recommendations.
- Expertise in Security Assessment & Authorization (A&A) with familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Target salary range: $87,217 - $153,503. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
