Project Crew Laborer

Does related work as required.

• Cleans and services buildings by sweeping and mopping offices, halls, stairways, etc.;
• Waxes and buffs floors with mechanical equipment; oils, lubricates or greases motors, such as found in engine room, laundry, elevators, etc.
• Cleans lighting fixtures, replaces light bulbs, and washes windows, moves furniture and equipment and washes walls and floors;
• Assists with outside work such as sweeping walks, shoveling snow, cutting lawn, trimming hedges, etc.;
• Loads and unloads trucks; -Cleans and performs maintenance on trucks, tractors, and tools;
• Picks up and disposes of trash; -Complies with various Occupational Safety and Health Administration laws and regulations, including reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets relating to hazardous materials and other substances;
• Delivers cleaning and maintenance supplies;
• Fills in for mail courier duties as needed.

• Starting rate: $16.25/hour (+ $0.55/hour shift differential)
• Paid holiday and vacation time.
• Health insurance benefits and NYS retirement.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License, and basic carpentry and mechanical skills required.
