Job location: Remote, East Coast USA
The Benefits Manager will provide oversight and management of all benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, COBRA, FSA, HSA, 401(k), and any other employee benefit programs. This role plays a fundamental role in maintaining, developing, evolving and managing the benefits philosophy and strategy throughout the business, communicating the value of the benefits plan to employees and retirees, and providing competitive employee benefits in line with Church & Dwight's Total Rewards strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Support company culture of continuous improvement, automation, and standardization.
- Assist with managing vendor administration/relationships and engage with vendors throughout the year to support various wellbeing programs.
- Participate in annual vendor negotiations alongside with benefits broker.
- Conducting open enrollment, benefit orientation and intro to HR at new hire orientation sessions.
- Develop and deliver communications that help our employees appreciate and value their total rewards package; incorporate total rewards statements and materials.
- Manage the annual enrollment process and coordinate implementation of any new vendors.
- Resolve operational issues with carriers, investigate discrepancies, and provide information in non-routine situations.
- Partner and collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, and external vendors to resolve enrollment, eligibility, enrollment issues.
- Manage the 401(k) audit and support the corporate audit and wealth and retirement plan audits.
- File timely 5500's and completes all other required filings and notices (e.g., PCORI, SARS, SMMs).
- Assist with the preparation of benefit plan materials including plan guides, participant correspondence, targeted communications and/or employee or HR presentations/ trainings.
- Keep an external focus on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the competitive environment, actively shares that knowledge internally within the HR community.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 10+ years' experience of employee benefits (either consulting or corporate).
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within all levels of the organization
- Strong critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail
- MS Office proficiency, including MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, etc.)

- An interest to help others navigate a complex field
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Travel required 5% - 10%
