• $115,948(New Graduates welcome to apply)Pharmacist Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersCheck for order accuracy on medicine type, dosage, and correct packaging/ labels on all new and refill ordersEducate patients on drug side-effects and correct dosage, including frequency of use, time of day, and any possible food or drug interactionsFollow all applicable local, state, and federal health law (FDA and DEA regulations, HIPAA guidelines)Answer questions and interpret symptoms of non-prescription customers; advise them on possible solutionsEnsure effective non-prescription treatment through over-the-counter oral medications and/or topical ointmentsCheck drug stock frequently and ensure drugs are up to date, removing any damaged or expired itemsMaintain patient information and recordsParticipate in continued learning (conferences, professional societies, reading and reviewing professional journals etc.)Pharmacist Job Requirements and QualificationsPharmD or RPh from an accredited schoolCurrent and valid license to practiceUnderstanding of DEA and FDA health regulationsResponsible, detail-oriented person of upstanding integrityBe able to handle a large work load while still working efficiently and accuratelyHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsPersonable and well-spoken with great customer service
