Regional Nurse Consultant SNF

Mix integrity, energy, intelligence and a passion for helping others by delivering oversight and leadership to a portfolio of Skilled Nursing centers nursing team through a shared vision of exceptional and purposeful direct patient care. An RN with multiple years of recent clinical experience including five or more years in a DON role in a long-term care setting; regional experience preferred, BSN preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Works with Administrators and Director Nursing Services in the screening of applicants for nurse management positions.
2. Provides orientation and training to community management including Administrator, Director Nursing Services and Resident Care Manager on company policies and procedures, State and Federal regulations.
3. Provides support as needed through the survey process including assistance with preparation for survey, writing the plan of correction, developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance
