HSE Manager

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field (Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Engineering).
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in developing and managing SHE/PLP programs with relevant facility-based experience.
• Experience working with federal, state, and local governmental organizations and business associations.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of SHE/PLP management systems, best industry practices, and work instructions.
• Ability to develop and implement site-specific SHE/PLP programs.
• Familiarity with manufacturing facilities and related SHE/PLP management systems.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures and work practices.
• Proven success in managing conflicting priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Strong influence and communication skills to engage site leadership and peers.
• Ability to train non-regulatory personnel on SHE/PLP program requirements.
• Capability to work with all levels of management and company personnel regarding PLP programs.

• Certifications:
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH), Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH), Certified OHS Professional (COHSProf), Certified Safety Engineer (CSE), or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Industry Experience:
• Experience in flavor or food industry manufacturing preferred.

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
