A Title Abstractor locates, analyzes and evaluates title records for land, homes and other property. They perform research to make sure property has no restriction on its use or sale, such as delinquent taxes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Conduct title searches via public records and provide comprehensive written title reports along with copies of relevant documents.
- Examine title related documents such as deeds, mortgages, deeds of trusts, liens, judgments, and easements in order to verify property ownership, confirm legal descriptions, and identify potential issues.
- Search and review property tax records and related documents including bankruptcy filings, and foreclosures
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Must Have Qualifications:.- Title Abstractor experience
- Underlying passion for delivering great client service
- Willingness to provide solutions to escalated issues, mainly by phone
- Great, positive, winning attitude
- The love of a fast paced, high energy work environment
- Ability to be flexible and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills-written, phone and presentation
- Strong computer knowledge and skills
- Internet experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to Multi-task
