Laborer
Position Overview:
We’re Hiring!
We have an immediate need for full-time Laborers at Ohio Steel Industries’ Structural Steel facility located at 13792 Broad St SW, Pataskala, OH 43073.
You willingness and ability to perform a wide range of duties is key to ensuring we provide our customers with a quality product that is built to their specifications and delivered in a timely manner. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Griding and polishing metal parts
- Operate punch press
- Complete cut list for welders
- Load and unload trucks
- Follow established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment
The schedule is currently 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Friday. Scheduled and incidental overtime may be required based on business needs.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive base pay, starting at $17 per hour, that’s paid weekly. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package – most of which are effective on your first day of employment. Requirements- Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to read tape measure
- Able to operate overhead electric traveling crane and forklift
- Unwavering commitment to safety
In addition, this position requires heavy work to include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, grasping objects, and ability to see distance, up close, and in color. There will be exposure to heat, noise, dust, and paint fumes.
