Dentistry for Children, located in Cliffside Park, NJ, is seeking a passionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.
As our RDA, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients.We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while making a positive impact on patients' oral health.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:45am-5:30pm Friday 8:45am-5:30pm
Location: 35 Journal Square Plaza Jersey City, New Jersey O7306 United States
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work in kid friendly environment
- Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments
- Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient’s mouth.
- Follow OSHA, Infection Control, and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
- Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA Guidelines. This includes: scrubbing the instruments, packing the instruments, running the instruments through the statim or autoclave
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) program.
- Current X-Ray certification in the State of New Jersey
- CPR certified
- Ability to work on children in the State of New Jersey, determined through national FBI Fingerprinting Background Check.
