Senior Accountant

We are seeking a remote Senior Accountant to join our tech client's team. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, contribute to month-end close activities, and ensure compliance with company policies and SOX 404 controls. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle bank and credit card transactions
• Contribute to month-end close activities, such as managing prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets, and performing expense analysis
• Generate and manage journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Participate in flux analysis of company balance sheet and income statement
• Oversee employee expense reimbursement, including reviewing expense reports for coding and compliance with company expense policy
• Support quarterly financial reviews and annual audit
• Aid in maintaining compliance with SOX 404 controls
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable tasks such as invoice coding, managing vendor relationships and records, and executing vendor payments
• Utilize your experience with NetSuite in daily tasks.
• Experience in Month End Close
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practice
