Position Summary
The Production Supervisor oversees the production floor and staff, ensuring efficient manufacturing workflow processes. This role is responsible for achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Team Development, while coaching and developing Team Leaders and Production Staff.
Essential Responsibilities- Set daily/weekly/monthly goals and effectively communicate expectations to employees.
- Delegate tasks by assigning responsibilities and creating work schedules.
- Oversee production staff and provide coaching, supervision, and support.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and equipment usage.
- Maintain and schedule preventative maintenance for production equipment.
- Monitor production output to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify efficiency and productivity issues and implement improvements.
- Generate and submit performance and progress reports.
- Train and onboard new employees, ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
- Enforce compliance with company standards, policies, and safety regulations.
- Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Develop future leaders and production staff to build a strong talent pipeline.

- High School Diploma required; degree in technical, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and assembly techniques.
- Experience in an assembly-type manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and manufacturing software.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop production staff.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and results-driven attitude.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Moderate to heavy lifting (average 30 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- Frequent reaching, grasping, and manual dexterity tasks.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and extended standing or walking.
- Requires visual acuity for quality inspections and accuracy.
