Accounts Receivable Clerk

We have an exciting short-term contract position available for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Wholesale Distribution sector. This role is based in the Westport, CT area and offers flexibility to work hybrid, or fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and timeliness.
• Update and maintain customer credit records to ensure accuracy.
• Address customer inquiries, monitor accounts, and collaborate with teams as needed.
• Coordinate with internal departments like Warehouse and Sales for approval-related tasks.
• Review, dispute, and follow up on deductions, including pursuing repayment for denied claims.
• Leverage strong Excel skills, with preferred experience in V Lookups.
• Conduct account reconciliations and handle duties related to Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Oversee billing, cash applications, and manage both cash and commercial collections.
• Utilize software tools like Microsoft Excel and Oracle for day-to-day operations.
• Display excellent organizational skills and effective verbal communication abilities.

• Prior Amazon portal experience required.
