We are in the process of recruiting a Staff Accountant to join our team in Addison, Texas. This role is situated within the industry and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with various accounting responsibilities including handling accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
Responsibilities:- Accurately manage and process accounts payable (AP)
- Oversee and handle accounts receivable (AR) efficiently
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the accounting cycle
- Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely reporting
- Utilize NetSuite for various accounting functions and data management
- Operate Oracle for financial data processing and analysis
- Use QuickBooks for accounting tasks and financial management
- Employ SAP for business operations and customer relations management. • Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and management
- Expertise in preparing and analyzing Journal Entries
- Proven experience in handling Month End Close procedures
- Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting purposes
- Experience with Oracle-based accounting systems
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management
- Knowledge of SAP for financial accounting and reporting
