A Typical Day:
The Senior Vice President Credit Risk Management is responsible for providing oversight and direction for critical activities within the Credit Risk Management function, including but not limited to, Credit Risk Management’s Strategic Plan and Budget mortgage origination/acquisition risk, loan reserve calculations, Counterparty approvals, Risk Mgmt corporate policies, corporate risk assessment and Credit change mgmt process.As the SVP Credit Risk, you will be responsible for the identification of emerging risks related to mortgage originations or acquisitions.
The Senior VP Credit Risk Management will:
- Develop and maintain Pennymac’s Servicing Credit Policy and Procedures for all mortgage products and investors.
- Oversee the change management program for Servicing Credit Policy
- Develop internal Quality Control scope for Servicing Credit Policy, oversee investor QC findings, and lead monthly Servicing Quality subcommittee meets to discuss findings and make remediation recommendations
- Develop Credit Risk Metrics and KPIs for the Servicing function
- Oversee monthly Credit Risk Management’s Servicing Business Review Meeting
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring:
- Demonstrated expertise in Servicing Credit Risk Management
- Knowledge of GSE, FHA, VA, USDA, PIH and generally acceptable servicing practices is a must
- Able to identify emerging risk trends and critical defects that need discussion
- Ability to create and deliver complex presentations to company leadership
- Strong proficiency in math, and writing, and familiarity with statistics
- Experience with writing credit policy is a must
- Highly proficient in Excel and Word, Google Docs
- Familiarity with utilizing Large Language Models is a plus

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary: $140,000 - $175.000
