Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Orthopedic Outpatient Office

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an orthopedic outpatient office in Palm City, FL. This role involves assisting Physical Therapists with patient treatment, guiding rehabilitation exercises, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with clinic procedures.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Option for (4) 10-hour shifts: Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday
• No weekends

Compensation:

• $60,000 – $70,000 per year + benefits

Patient Caseload:

• 1–2 patients per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementing treatment plans by guiding patients through exercises and manual therapy.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain and prepare treatment areas and equipment.
• Support clinic operations, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Conduct movement, balance, and coordination assessments.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Active Florida PTA license.
• At least two years of experience in an outpatient or similar setting.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as WebPT.
• Hands-on experience with manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong communication skills for patient education and engagement.
