Job Summary:

• This position focuses on facilitating recovery for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The Occupational Therapist will work with patients to develop life management skills and improve their ability to function in various settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' mental and physical capabilities.
• Plan and lead group therapy sessions to promote social integration and skill development.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to create coordinated care plans.
• Provide guidance on adaptive strategies and environmental modifications.
• Document therapy activities and outcomes to track patient progress.

Qualifications:

• NYS active Occupational Therapy license required.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in mental health and group therapy required.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
