Position Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately filing medical insurance claims to various insurance carriers, following all industry standards and regulations.
Experience is a plus, but not required. Job training is provided for qualified candidates
Key Responsibilities: Accurately prepare medical insurance claims for submission to various payers
Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mailResearch and resolve claim denials and appeals
Follow up on unpaid claims and denials with insurance companies
Maintain accurate patient records and billing information and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Assist with other billing tasks as needed
Qualifications: Previous experience in medical billing or a related field preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) is a plus, not requiredExcellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
