Primary Responsibilities (70%)
- Achieve sales targets while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Communicate with and visit current and potential distributors and customers to increase sales.
- Analyze sales trends, product presentations, and best practices to maximize profit.
- Research and identify potential customers, developing proactive sales methods.
- Develop new business opportunities at trade shows, with distributors, and at industry events.
- Perform additional sales functions as needed.
- Maintain regular contact with customers and distributors via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Follow up on past-due accounts to ensure collections are completed.
- Provide price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers.
- Deliver product presentations and identify customer needs, reporting concerns as necessary.
- Follow up on sales leads and inquiries from advertisements, websites, trade shows, and distributors.
- Perform additional marketing tasks as required.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to grow business.
- Represent the company in various professional capacities.
- Time & Resource Management: Maximize productivity using company tools (phone, email, CRM, etc.).
- Reporting & Communication: Participate in meetings and report key issues to management to prevent potential challenges.
- Administrative Support: Prepare reports, handle correspondence, distribute mail, file documents, and perform general administrative duties as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues with tasks and maintain flexibility in work assignments.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and best practices.
- Performance Improvement: Accept and apply feedback, recommend process improvements, and uphold workplace standards.
- Primarily a sedentary role requiring sitting, talking, and occasional standing or walking.
- Occasionally required to lift/move up to 10 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustments.
- Work environment is a typical business office with moderate noise levels.
- Some travel may be required, along with occasional work beyond standard hours.
- Read, analyze, and interpret business documents in both Spanish and English.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents in both languages.
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, clients, and the public.
- Deliver presentations in Spanish and English.
- Calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and volume.
- Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
- Interpret written and oral instructions.
- Solve problems with multiple variables and limited standardization.
- Analyze business documents, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and EDI systems.
- Ability to generate and customize reports as needed.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
