Procurement Specialist-Subcontract Administrator
L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Procurement Specialist-Subcontract Administrator.In this role, you will be responsible for cradle-to-grave subcontract administration of commercial and non-commercial 'low' risk acquisitions related to our client's services and research.Tasks include:-Utilizing independent problem-solving techniques and skills, including managing procurement-requestor meetings to minimize procurement risk and promote value of the procurement process.-Providing pre-award support including: SOWs, Acquisition Strategy Support, Cost Estimates, Market Research, RFPs/RFQs, Source Selection, and other miscellaneous pre-award documentation.-Awarding subcontracts and purchase orders and administers cost-type subcontracts.-Managing Purchasing Card (P-Card) program.-Seeking quality goods/services at fair and reasonable prices to meet the client's needs.-Managing supplier relationships.-Negotiating and awarding subcontracts and purchase orders.-Maintaining excellent file documentation, standard format and record retention consistent with client's Procurement manual for all procurements.-Engaging in post-award administration.
