Position Overview:We are seeking a Sales Assistant & Customer Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Armonk, NY. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in sales support, logistics coordination, and customer service. The ideal candidate will assist our Sales Manager in serving customers, managing purchase orders, and coordinating logistics, with opportunities for career advancement.
This position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience), eligibility for our bonus program, and health insurance benefits. For career planning, the successful candidate could advance to a Sales Representative or Sales Manager role within 2-3 years, depending on their knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:Purchase Order (PO) Operations: Communicate with customers about delivery schedules, required documents, and payment details.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Customer Assistance: Support the Sales Manager in addressing customer needs and inquiries.
Manage inside sales processes and customer support metrics.Provide timely and accurate information for incoming customer service orders and inquiries.
Process customer orders, changes, and returns with attention to detail.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints, developing effective solutions.
Collaborate with Sales Representatives on quotes and order statuses.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree, preferably in Chemistry, Food Science or a related field.
Authorized to work in the United States.- 3 years of experience in the Flavor & Fragrance (F&F) industry is preferred.
Sales or customer service-oriented mindset.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of logistics, including container and trucking movements.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a professional and diplomatic manner.
High degree of adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to teamwork and company goals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
