Division info:
Located in Livonia, Michigan, the 120+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for design, development, manufacturing, assembly and support of landing gear, actuation systems and other aerospace components.
As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs supporting Boeing, Lock Heed Martin, Parker Hannifan, and military initiatives such as the B-2 Stealth, F105, and V280.
With a strong focus on latest technology of the manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

The HR Generalist coordinates the daily activities of the human resources operations. They will work with the HR Manager to process payroll, recruit, organize training programs, policy administration, and hiring procedures. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected.

Main responsibilities:
- All recruitment and hiring activities of direct labor personnel.
- Use HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and conduct absences administration.
- Administrating compensation and support to the benefits program.
- Ensuring HR policies and practices comply with state and federal regulation.
- Maintaining HR records.
- Support employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issue arises.
- Conducting new hire orientation and exit interviews.
- Creating and assisting in training and organizational development efforts.
- Assisting in coordinating of employee events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working in the human resources field.
- 2+ years of experience recruiting skilled labor roles.
- At least one year of experience in labor relations and compliance
- At least one year of experience managing compensation and benefits programs.
- 2+ years implementing tactics to improve performance management.
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- High level of customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
