Responsibilities:

• Review ledgers, journal entries, valuations, and accruals while overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages, fund financials, presentations, and reports for limited partners.
• Manage partnership accounting, including capital account reconciliations, statement preparation, and tax workpapers, as well as analyzing Fund-of-Funds capital statements.
• Document and maintain accounting policies, processes, and controls while working to enhance and automate procedures.
• Prepare capital calls and distributions for limited partners.
• Support cash management, treasury functions, and budget tracking.
• Assist with quarterly and annual reporting, consolidation, tax returns, and compliance filings.
• Collaborate on projects related to system enhancements, technical accounting, and the application of U.S. GAAP; support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
• 6+ years of experience in financial services, with a mix of public and private sector exposure, particularly in venture capital.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fair value accounting principles.
• Proficient in G-Suite and Excel, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly accurate, organized, and adept at time management.
• A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work off-hours as needed to meet project demands.
