A highly respected and rapidly growing Woman- and Veteran-Owned Commercial General Contractor in the Raleigh area is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Manager to join our team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of exciting projects, including pharmaceutical facilities, multi-family housing, commercial and retail spaces, educational institutions, healthcare projects, and interior upfits.

The Construction Manager will play a key role in ensuring the success of projects across the greater Raleigh area.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day project operations.
Deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
Develop and monitor detailed project plans to track progress.
Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using verification techniques.
Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, subcontractors, and GCs.
Conduct risk management to mitigate project risks.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and metrics.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Develop and share project plans with clients and team members.
Use and enhance leadership skills to foster team collaboration.
Actively seek new business opportunities through networking and relationship building.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8+ years of relevant construction/engineering experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management software.
Highly motivated, assertive, and driven individual with a passion for excellence.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining integrity in all aspects of work.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
Goal-oriented and diligent personality with a focus on results.
