We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Medical Assistant to join our medical team full time in the Upper Darby, PA area. Ideally, we are looking for an energetic, punctual, responsible, and hard-working person. We have several multispecialty offices around the Philadelphia area, see many patients daily and are looking for a great addition to our already stellar team!
Must be able to remain organized while managing multiple details, communicate effectively, relate to people from different socio-economic backgrounds, and multitask. Ideally, the incoming MA has knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, is proficient in medication administration techniques, including inhalation and can provide excellent patient care with compassion and empathy.
It is preferred if the MA is fluent in Spanish or Chinese. . We have several offices around the greater Philadelphia area and the MA will potentially be rotating through all offices (Upper Darby, Havertown, NE Philadelphia, Philly -Brewery town area, and Chester).

Duties:
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing and coding for insurance purposes
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health topics.
Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring.
Strong customer service skills to ensure positive patient experiences.
Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment is a plus.
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
Salary: $17 - $19 per hour

Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Collaborate with the team for comprehensive patient careRequirements: Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
Basic life support (BLS) certificationStrong customer service skills to ensure positive patient experiences.
Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment is a plus.
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
Ability to speak Spanish or Chinese is preferred
