Electrical Estimator

Overview:
The estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates on routine small projects under direct supervision for construction as required by clients documents.
Responsibilities:
- Examine proposals, blueprints, and specifications to determine the kind and time period of work necessary for a project.
- Prepare material orders and other documentation.
- Visit job sites to assess progress, maintain logs, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate work.
- Create project plans from estimates, and define tasks, schedules, and necessary personnel.
- Confer with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, and negotiate and use local expertise to estimate costs.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- High School minimum; Degree in related field preferred; Experience overall - two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
- Must be able to pass background screen
- Experience working in ACCUBID preferred
- Must work at an intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in take-off estimator planning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask while staying organized
- Self-Motivated
- Positive customer service skills

Pay Range: USD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
