Job Overview:

The QA Corporate Trainer develops and implements training initiatives, assesses progress, and focuses on continuous improvement on training material, programs, and processes. The QA Corporate Trainer effectively communicates to all departments the requirements for training and provides follow-up, identifies training gaps and addresses them with with the appropiate departments.

The QA Corporate Trainer works with all departments to assess training needs and leads and participates in on-going training mechanisims (e.g print web, audio, video and distance learning).

Responsibilities:

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:

  • Must posses ability to speak and present material in front of a large audience. Must have the ability to engage and influence audience.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively under high pressure with multi-deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented with good oral, written and interpersonal communications.
  • Strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors in a related Science field, and /or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years experience as a designated trainer in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Full understanding of FDA, DEA and cGMP regulations as applicable to the pharmaceutical industry. Full understanding of pharmaceutical procedures.

Physical Requirements: OFFICE POSITION

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:
  • Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting is required
  • Moderate noise (i.e.
business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
