Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patients' respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and medical history.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and home equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
