Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patients' respiratory conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and medical history.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and home equipment usage.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
