Responsibilities:

Coordinates clinical and educational activities for department. Serves as a clinical and educational resource for specialty practice.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing,
  2. B.S. degree in nursing
  3. Certification in specialty (Certification Diabetes Care & Education Specialist)
  4. Current BLS Certification
  5. Five (5) years of experience in specialty minimum of (2) years’ experience working in an American Diabetes Association Recognition program.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Familiarity Proficiency with Microsoft office and various computer based programs.

PREFERRED:

  1. Master’s Degree in nursing preferred.
