As a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing medical billing processes, ensuring accurate medical coding, and handling medical collections.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the processing of medical billing
- Ensure accurate and efficient medical coding using ICD CPT and ICD-9 CPT-4
- Handle and resolve any medical collections related issues
- Maintain and update patient accounts and records
- Deal with any customer inquiries related to their accounts
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
- Required to be vaccinated as a part of the role.
- Proven experience in Medical Billing is mandatory for this role.
- A high level of proficiency in ICD CPT is required.
- Applicants should have a comprehensive understanding of ICD-9 CPT-4.
- Previous experience in Medical Collections is a significant advantage.
- Candidates should possess a strong background in Medical Coding.
