Responsibilities:

Project Overview:

At REI Systems, the Network Administrator will play a key role in supporting our Corporate IT team, ensuring the reliability and security of the internal technology infrastructure. This role focuses on managing and optimizing network systems, firewalls, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS) to support company-wide operations.

By working closely with our technical support team, you will ensure seamless IT services, enabling the entire organization to function efficiently and securely. Your work will directly contribute to the success of REI Systems' mission to deliver innovative technology solutions to federal clients.

Position Overview:

As a Network Administrator at REI Systems, you will be responsible for managing, securing, and enhancing the organization's core network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security for our federal clients. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, helping to support the network systems, cloud environments, and platforms that are crucial to mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML
  • Deploy, administer and manage cloud infrastructure services in Azure and Vmware infrastructure hosted -on premise
  • Set up, configure, and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) in Azure
  • Install, configure, administer, upgrade firewalls (Checkpoint), networking equipment (switches, DNS/DHCP, Wireless access Points, NAC, load balancer, VPN etc.)
  • VDI configuration and management on Azure

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platform administration, especially in Azure and AWS, including network setup and virtual servers
  • Strong experience with Windows server administration
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing SSO solutions, particularly using SAML for identity and access management
  • Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) setup and management in Azure
  • Strong experience with automation and scripting to enhance cloud infrastructure and reduce manual processes
  • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in networking and cloud environments
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network and system issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high attention to detail

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.

Clearance:Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is preferred.

Location:Hybrid (One day per week or as needed in the REI Sterling VA Office).
