Part Time Accounting Clerk

This role will be based on-site. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-1pm.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis
• Respond to emails and other inquiries related to accounting matters
• Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting systems
• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
• Process invoices accurately and promptly
• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Assist in the billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
• Must have experience with Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures
• Experience in Billing is necessary
• Data Entry skills are required
• Must be familiar with Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Experience with Oracle software is desired
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
• Familiarity with SAP systems is beneficial
• Part-time availability is required
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
