Project Description: Needs to be local to Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Houston, Texas office... hybrid in office 3 days a week

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Provide a brief description as to the primary purpose of this job (no more than three to five sentences).

You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process for all of locations to proactively drive talent acquisition strategies for a wide range of positions to meet the current and future needs of the business.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

List essential job functions; describe in terms of actions (verbs) and desired outcomes in order of most important first.
  • Handle the entire recruitment process: job postings, resume screening, candidate identification, telephone screening, interviews, administration of pre-hire surveys and preparation and presentation of offers;
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience to all applicants;
  • Effectively manage multiple open positions ranging from management to entry level positions;
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers and the Human Resources team to understand the need and develop recruitment strategies to target and attract the best candidates;
  • Train and advise hiring managers on policies and procedures as well as recruitment techniques and guidelines;
  • Review job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers according to the standards established by the company before posting a position;
  • Ensure that local recruitment strategies are consistent with the company's vision, while reducing the time required to achieve results;
  • Maintain the database (adding and updating candidate information);
  • Regularly publish job offers on the various channels available (search tools and social networks);
  • Have new employees complete their hiring documents and liaise with the appropriate departments to create their access as soon as possible;
  • Occasionally participate in recruitment activities (trade shows, conferences, networking, etc.);
  • All other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education /Experience /Background
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations or other related field;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) - Big plus but not required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the human resources field with a focus on recruitment;
  • Experience managing the full recruitment cycle;
  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition software (Smart Recruiter preferred), job boards, and social and professional network recruiting features;
  • Experience managing vendors and partnering with external recruiting agencies;
  • Experience recruiting in the industrial sector preferred.
