Job Title: Patient Registration Associate

Duties:

  • Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars in a medical practice setting.
  • Register patients and verify all clinical, demographic, and financial details.
  • Collect and reconcile payments daily, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Process referrals and pre-authorizations, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Enter coding information (CPT-4, ICD-9) into the system for billing purposes.
  • Provide assistance at the front desk, including patient check-ins and inquiries.
  • Oversee patient flow in the waiting room and proactively resolve issues.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and basic coding.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education:

  • High school diploma required; experience in medical office settings preferred.

Pay Range:

  • Weekly: $1,300 - $1,550
