Job Description:

The Medication Technician/Caregiver @ BridgePoint at Los Altos is responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. As well as administers resident medications and coordinates treatments to residents.

This is a full-time position, Tuesday-Saturday, NOC shift.

Pay range: $22-25/hr

Hiring bonus: $1,000

What will I do every day?
  • Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to supervisor
  • Assist residents with simple requests as needed
  • Document and report changes of condition
  • Provide medication set up and assistance
  • Log in medications from pharmacies, verify physician’s orders and communicate any concerns
  • Track all medications and re-order as needed
  • Track residence vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injection, ambulation, etc.
  • Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
  • Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
  • Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
  • Document care provided to residents consistent
  • Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current
  • Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly

  • Nursing assistant course completion a plus
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
  • Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements)
  • Have current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Must be able to meet state training requirements and/or certifications
  • CNA is a plus
