Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor
Our client located in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced and diligent Purchasing and Inventory Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of purchasing and inventory control to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the purchasing process including order placement, tracking, and supplier relations
Conducts inventory control to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
Continually improve purchasing strategies to reduce costs and improve quality
Supervises and develops purchasing and inventory team
Requirements:
3+ Years of Purchasing and Inventory Experience
Proven experience in purchasing and/or inventory management
Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Analytical mind with strong numerical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to solve complex problems
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field
Experience in the HVAC industry
NetSuite experience
This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 95K plus benefits working 100% in office.- Proficiency in Budget Processes to effectively manage and allocate resources
- Familiarity with Buying Processes to ensure smooth procurement operations
- Excellent Customer Service skills to handle vendor relations and internal stakeholders
- Ability to handle Invoice processing and verification for accuracy
- Experience in managing Purchase Orders, from creation to completion
- Comprehensive understanding of Purchasing Functions and best practices
- Proven experience in Purchasing Management, demonstrating strategic planning and implementation
- Capability to conduct Annual Inventory checks and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with NetSuite for efficient inventory and order management
