Accounting Clerk

This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle data entry tasks related to accounting, including entering amounts, descriptions, Debit GL, and Credit GL
• Efficiently process invoices and manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
• Manage billing processes and procedures
• Prepare and go through the trial balance to ensure all entries are accurate
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Clerk
• Proficiency in account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) management
• Familiarity with billing procedures and able to maintain accurate financial records
• Demonstrated skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Proven experience in invoice processing and management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and financial calculations
• Experience with Oracle financial software for managing financial tasks
• Knowledge of QuickBooks for managing and paying bills, and payroll functions
• Familiarity with SAP for accounting and financial purposes
• Ability to prepare trial balance to verify the accuracy of bookkeeping
• Experience with trial balance for checking the mathematical accuracy of accounting books.
