We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Payment Poster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated by the responsibility of ensuring that all payments are accurately recorded and posted into the respective patient's account in the medical billing system.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately post payments from insurance companies and patients into our medical billing system.
2. Balance daily batches of patient accounts.
3. Maintain precise records of all financial transactions.
4. Identify and resolve any discrepancies in payment postings.
5. Interact and collaborate effectively with other staff members to resolve billing issues.
6. Adhere to federal and state laws related to medical billing and privacy.
7. High School diploma or equivalence, higher education is a plus.
8. Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or an equivalent role is desirable.
9. Proficient data entry and numeric skills.
10. Excellent attention to detail.
11. Ability to work independently and with a team.
12. Strong knowledge of healthcare payment and insurance systems.
13. Excellent communication skills.
