Overview: $1,500 sign-on bonus with 1 year of experience - External Applicants Only

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assumes responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other provider in patient care departments. Provides nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the LPN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse, midlevel provider or physician. Nursing care is guided by the provider orders and the nursing plan of care within the LPN scope of practice.
Reports patient response to care to registered nurse or other provider for evaluation, intervention and modification of the plan of care.

Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.

Qualifications:
License/Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

Education:

College Diploma: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required)

Salary Range:

The compensation range for this position is $20.99per hour - $35.05per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
