The ideal candidate for the Assistant Operations Manager role is required to have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the Operations field. Having luxury sales experience is preferred. With 4-5 years of experience in a luxury retail environment, particularly in Operations.This candidate is expected to have a proven track record in elevating client experiences and nurturing client relationships. A prior supervisory role is essential, and the candidate must demonstrate the ability to motivate their team and quickly resolve sales-related issues.
Strong selling and closing skills along with the capability to provide tailored solutions to clients’ needs. Additionally, proficiency in Excel and Word is required, along with the ability to travel as needed. The ideal candidate should also have strong networking abilities, particularly at high-profile events, and foreign language skills relevant to the market are preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
What are we expecting from you?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with the overall management and enhancement of the Boutique, with the main objectives of adhering to polices, supporting the sales teams and driving operational excellence in the boutique.As an Assistant Operations Manager, one must be a true leader in the boutique, sharing VCA values with the teams and acting as a true Ambassador of the Maison.
In this role, you will:
- Assist Operations Manager in supporting and guiding the team in all aspects of operations including policy & procedures and corporate directives
- Implement, supervise, and audit processes to ensure maintenance of daily/weekly/monthly counts. Partner with Management team on processes to ensure count discrepancies, shrink, reporting is resolved daily
- Monitor Inventory health by managing incoming and outgoing stock transfers, analyze trends to ensure commercial efficiency
- Monitor and supervise shipping, delivery (Diligence) & handling all packages with high efficiency.
- Establish KPI metrics to provide real time data on the state client orders – total value on hand, deposit secured, aged orders, etc.
- Build and monitor the process of stock on the selling floor, replenishment, reservations, stock on display, etc.
- Educate and transmit to sales advisors all front of house policies and procedures consistently
- Provide excellent customer service and help team nurture and elevate boutique experiences to support growth of sales
- Help create a highly organized environment to ensure operational accuracy
