Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are captured for physician evaluation. This role requires attention to detail, expertise in operating radiographic equipment, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.

Primary Duties:

• Perform general radiographic imaging procedures including X-rays.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain and operate radiographic equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Assist patients in preparing for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Process and review images to verify quality and accuracy.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain accurate records of imaging procedures.
• Follow infection control procedures and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a general Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer).

Education & Certifications:

• Required Education: Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
• Preferred Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English (speak, read, write).
