Maintenance Technician

We are now hiring for a skilled MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our team!!!

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must have maintenance training and experience.
• Machine repair
• Hydraulic repair
• Electrical repair
• Machine tools
• Welding
• Carpentry
• Plumbing
• PLC's

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
• Follow preventative maintenance programs
• Make repairs to equipment to maintain production schedules
• Work with department supervisors to minimize disruption to production schedules when repairing critical production machinery
• Follow appropriate ANSI, NEC codes; OSHA regulations, including safety requirements
• Work with outside contractors
• On call for after-hours maintenance issues
• Perform other duties as requested by management

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and / or walk (being on your feet) for eight hours
• Good vision, correctable with glasses
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Other requirements may be necessary as the job dictates

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PAY:

• Based on current skills and experience
• Starting wage determined during interview

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SCHEDULE:

• 1st shift
• 8-hour shift
• Overtime as needed
• On call for after hours and weekend maintenance.
• May be required to work during off-shifts as needed
• Requirements
• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
